An all time classic way of amusement for the villagers!!! Greek coffee, playing cards, backgammon (tavli), ouzo etc. Close to the Parish Church of the village stand the two traditional coffee houses. One belongs to the municipality and was renovated in 1971 by donation of the association of emigrants from USA.

The other one The Americanicon is private-owned and was built by Nikos Assimakopoulos, who emigrated in USA and when he returned he added one floor to his house, which began to operate as coffee house - grocery store.

The villagers gather in these two coffee houses especially after the Sunday service. During the summer, when the village is 'flooded' by vacationers it is hard to find an empty seat to drink your coffee. Both coffee houses operate year-round.
